Where did all the time go
We thought we had when we retired?
What happened to the many hours
And projects to which we had aspired?
What happened to yesterday and the day before
And the week we just went through?
It seemed like we had just begun
Then time took wings and flew.
I know I got things done
But if you were to ask me what I did
My answer would most likely be
I haven’t done a thing, time just went away and hid.
