Lead me to a land where the sky is blue
Where the air is clean and clear
A land where sparkling waters flow
And friendships persevere.
Lead me to a land where the ocean’s roar
Carries voices from a distant land
Where the people I meet are friendly
And extend a welcoming hand.
Lead me to a land where the midnight sky
Has a brilliance from millions of stars
That combine with the luster from northern lights
To exceed that of Venus or Mars.
The land I seek is enchanting
As the fog rolls in from the sea
And the pine covered slopes of the distant hills
Call out, “Come to me, come to me.”
