All you working folks out there
It’s now time for me to share
The good things that retirement can bring.
You’ll be kinda short of money
But the days will all be sunny
And you’ll live a life that’s fashioned for a king.

If you feel inclined to putter
You can lie down in the gutter
And tinker with your infernal combustion machine.
Or if the travel bug bites ya
You can go someplace that delights ya
Or read about it in a magazine.

So all you folks who want to retire
And to a quieter life aspire
Don’t be afraid people will think you’re lazy.
Think of all the joys of life
Away from all the bustle and strife
Much better that than six feet under a daisy.
