Sing me a song of the morning rain
Of the constant break of the sea
Sing me a song and I’ll sing along
In a moment of rhapsody.
Sing me a song of the wind in the trees
Or the song of a lark in flight
Or a rainbow of color at sunset
And I’ll sing a song of delight.
For all of the songs of nature’s ways
Are always a pleasure to me
They fill my heart with happy verse
And inspire me to poetry.
