I’m getting too old to chase the girls
To pat their rumps and pull their curls
They’re glad I’m not young anymore.
I used to think I was quite the splash
And hand them a line of balderdash
They’re glad I’m not young anymore.
When I was teen-aged I chased all the dames
No matter what was the shape of their frames.
I’m finding it easy to refrain
From being a most unwelcome pain
The way I was in all those days of yore
They’re so glad I’m not young anymore
