As we wander along life’s pathway
Many people share where it wends
With some we have a brief meeting
Others become lifelong friends.
These friends we’ll form a bond with
That extends through many years
Sharing life’s happiest moments
And sometimes ones that bring tears.
One friend may become a life partner
And be much, nuch more than a friend
Where love will now highlight the journey
And continue a journey that has no end
