Life Is

Life is quite poetical
Metrical and musical
Magical and whimsical too.
It’s more than one dimensional
And seldom is conventional
Not when I live with you.

Our life is sometimes comical
Occasionally gastronomical
We’ve learned what economical means.
We’ve tried to be congenial
When tasks become too menial
And limit adversarial scenes.

Sometimes we’re intellectual
But rarely ineffectual
We wouldn’t want it any other way.
This brief attempt to chronicle
Is somewhat histrionical
Our life is love, what else is there to say?
