I went down to the creek one fine summer day
Where the frogs were all sassy and plump
They were all lively and sang very loud
And the bullfrogs all sang chug-a-rump.

I saw a big bullfrog, as proud as could be
Alone on top of a stump
When I tried to catch him he jumped 20 feet
And the bullfrogs all sang chug-a-rump.

I tried for another on top of a rock
But each time I tried he would jump
He was slipp’ry and slimy and I got all wet
And the bullfrogs all sang chug-a-rump.

I gave up on catching those noisy old frogs
So I wouldn’t feel like a chump
Chug-a-rump they all sang in taunting refrain
Chug-a-rump, chug-a-rump, chug-a-rump
FROGS
